• Example 1 – The Moselle Valley dream road in both directions

• Example 2 – From Cochem in the direction of the Nürburgring,  Blankenheim, Adenau, Altenahr, Ahrweiler through the Ahr valley and       the famous wine towns along the Rhine, if you want to then on to Bonn –   or Koblenz – back through the Rhine valley, Moselle valley or via the Eifel.

• Example 3 – Direction Daun, Hillesheim, Gerolstein, Prüm, St.Vith  (Belgium) and back in the direction Nürburgring to Cochem

• Example 4 – Direction Kyll town, Kyllburg, Kronenburg, Monschau, Malmedy (Belgium) via the Venn peak to Eupen 

• Example 5 – Direction Monreal, Mayen, Mendig, Abbey Maria Laach on the biggest volcanic lake in Germany, Brohl valley, to the Rhine

• Example 6 – Direction Wittlich, Bitburg, Luxembourg, Echternach, Trier -  back via the Eiffel – or the Hunsrück peaks or combined with Moselle   valley

• Example 7 – Direction Beilstein, Hunsrückhohenstrasse ( the oldest route in Germany), Kastellaun, Simmern (Schinderhannes tower)

• Example 8 – Moselle valley – direction Koblenz (German Corner) to Lahnstein – up the Lahn valley to Limburg

• Example 9 – Moselle valley – direction Koblenz – Burgen through the Baybach valley up to the Hunsrück, down to the Rhine with the ferry over to the Taunus, then via Westerwald back to Koblenz and Cochem

• Example 10 – Moselle valley direction Zell – Alf through the Hellenbachtal over to the Eifel, Springiersbach cloister, Kinderbeuren, down to the Moselle to Reil, via Ürzig to Bernkastel –Kues, back to Traben-Trarbach, up to the Hunsrück in the direction of Hahn airport (go-karting), Blankenrath, through the Flaumbach valley, Engelport cloister, Treis Karden back to Cochem

• Example 11 – Around the volcanic lakes in the Vulkaneifel, Ulmen, Lutzerath, Schalkenmehren, Gillenfeld, Bad Betrich, Daun, Manderscheid, Hillesheim

• Example 12 – Via the Hunsrück into the Pfalz, along the wine road to Bad Dürkheim, detour to Alsace, back to Cochem however you wish

• Example 13 – Via the Hunsrück to Hermeskeil, Tholey, St.Wendel, Hochwald, Merzig along the Saar valley in the direction of Saarburg and Trier – back to Cochem via the Eifel hills or the Hunsrück or along the Moselle valley

• Example 14 – Along the Moselle valley up to Trier, further along the Moselle to Luxembourg, Schengen (Europe was founded here) to Thionville, then to Cochem as you wish

These tour suggestions are mostly day excursions and combine with one another easily. They can also be made into half day excursions.
If you think we’ve exhausted our list , I’d like to prove you otherwise. I, myself, like motor biking and enjoy the beautiful landscape and trying out different curves and routes.
